  • I find it hard to gather all of my thoughts on one subject into one post that no one will read, but I think the challenge is why I keep trying. All at once it seems life is moving fast, I can’t catch up, it’ll never end… etcetcetcetcetc. But, if you think about it, that’s all wrong. Of course I can’t catch up, of course time hasn’t suddenly altered the way the seconds tick, of course it will end [that one holds truth for obvious reasons]. What I should really be saying is- What am I complaining about? Look where I am. Look at what I’ve done. Appreciation isn’t hard to give to yourself, and despite what some of the world thinks, it is absolutely OKAY to compliment yourself. It is okay to be happy. To make yourself happy. And to hold onto people that make you happy. And to let go otherwise. The people you should hold onto will be the ones that are happy for you no matter what. The people that will ask you directly instead of believing what they’ve heard through the sticky, overgrowing grapevine, but will still bear in mind that there are always two sides to every story. The people that help repair the damaged areas you never thought could be fixed.

I can only hope I’ve been that to at least one other person.
